Manicures
A manicure is for your fingernails and normally includes filing the nails and shaping the nails, cuticle treatments, hand massage and painting with a colour of your choice. Instead of a full nail polish you may go for a french manicure, natural pink base with a white tip.

A pedicure is pretty much the same as a manicure only for the nails on your toes instead of your fingers
Nail Extensions
Many women choose to have nail extension, also referred to as fake nails, false nails, artificial nails or nail enhancements.
Woman may chose to have nail extensions because they find it hard to grow their own nails, or to cover up broken or damaged nails. It also helps to prevent people from biting their nails.
The most common type of nail extensions are -acrylics - these are made up of a mixture polymer powder and a liquid monomer.
Powder and liquid acrylics can be removed by using a variety of solvents and it takes 15 to 20 minutes to remove the nail. If you have acrylic nail extensions you will need to have them filed in or re-done every 2-3 weeks.
